About The Position

Position Summary: The Massage Therapist is responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. The therapist will be dedicated to helping clients improve their overall well-being through therapeutic touch, relaxation techniques, and customized massage treatments. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a spa or resort setting preferred
  • Proficiency in various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, sports, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion
  • Passion for wellness and holistic care
  • Valid massage therapy license or certification (as required by state law)

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional massage therapy sessions based on client needs and preferences
  • Assess clients’ physical conditions and medical histories to tailor treatments
  • Recommend individualized massage plans, stretches, or wellness practices
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, linens, tools, and common spa areas in compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
  • Adhere to all licensing and state regulations for massage therapy
  • Educate clients on the benefits of massage and self-care techniques
  • Collaborate with spa staff to ensure seamless guest service and assist with daily spa operations.
  • Uphold the resort’s standards of luxury service and guest confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times
