Job Responsibilities As a massage therapist , you will provide massage services and body treatments. Your specific duties in this role will include: Massage body, using a variety of techniques including Swedish, aromatherapy, deep tissue, reflexology, hot stone and pregnancy while following proper draping procedures. Perform body treatments including scrubs and wraps. Perform opening and closing side work per checklists. Analyze and consult on clients medical and physical needs prior to treatments while educating on the benefits of massage. Prepare treatment rooms for clients, changing linens between clients. Ensure guest satisfaction through proper massage technique Encourage clients to re-book services and actively self promote within the community. Promote retail sales of spa products and services. Perform services in the pre-determined time scheduled while maintaining appointment timeliness. Stock supplies and maintain organization and neatness in Spa Dispensary and treatment rooms. Provide information pertaining to hours and available services of the Spa and hotel, i.e. restaurant, lounge, room service. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Spa and surrounding areas.

Requirements

3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must maintain a valid New York State Massage License.
Exceptional customer service skills
