About The Position

Royal Oaks Country Club is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist with at least five years of professional experience to work in its High-end Sports/Spa facility. This is a part-time/on-call, commission-based position requiring availability four days a week. The Massage Therapist will administer professional massage and body treatments to club members, requiring thorough knowledge of various massage modalities and a general understanding of body treatments. The role also involves training in the club’s specific offerings, possessing excellent communication skills, and effectively educating members on wellness concerns. The therapist must maintain a current state license and certifications, uphold sanitation standards, and actively promote services and products.

Requirements

Must hold and maintain a current state license and certifications
Thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities
General understanding of body treatments
Excellent communication skills
Ability to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our members
Ability to keep information confidential

Minimum of one year of professional massage experience in club, spa or resort setting performing our current spa offerings
CPR and AED certification required

Responsibilities

Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
Provide consistent professional massage in accordance with club protocols and accepted license practices.
Effectively inform and educate our members about specific wellness concerns.
Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the club.
Properly care for equipment.
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the club’s policies and procedures.
Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or members in the club that require attention.
Actively promote treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by members and guests.
Integrate department with club programming and team.
