About The Position

The Massage Therapist is a key member of the Member Services Department Team. The Therapist is ultimately responsible for delivering an extremely high level of both applied service (i.e. massage, facial, body treatment, manicure, pedicure, etc.) and overall experience to all visitors, guests, and members on a consistent basis. This is achieved by utilizing excellent technical skills alongside exceptional interpersonal skills and being well-versed in the Center’s Service Standards. The goal of these efforts is to earn excellent member satisfaction levels and, more importantly, create life-long promotors of the Center and its services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Current Licensure and State Certification for Massage Therapy
• Fluent in the English language
• Legal to work in the United States
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
• 1 year of massage experience
• Excellent organizational skills, recording keeping ability and relationship development skills

Nice To Haves

• Specialty certification from reputable organization in areas such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial techniques, craniosacral, infant and pre-natal massage.

• Committed to providing the best services possible by maintaining current certifications, attending continuing education seminars, and reviewing industry literature.
• Demonstrates a team approach by displaying the willingness to embrace a facility first attitude and exceeding expectations in any way possible.
• Maintains all licensing and certifications required to practice in State of Ohio.
• Must be willing to travel to conduct offsite massage appointments for corporate partners.
