About The Position

As a Massage Therapist at The Springs Spa, you will utilize your developed skills and exceptional customer service to provide relief, comfort, and important education to clients. This position is per diem, allowing for flexible scheduling while still contributing to the health and wellness of our community. You will be responsible for providing various types of massage therapy, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Signature massages, as well as hydrotherapy and other bodywork treatments. Your role will also involve assisting with poultices and special treatments, demonstrating evaluation skills, and recognizing contraindications to treatment. In addition to your treatment responsibilities, you will have opportunities for leadership and collaboration. This includes assisting with educational programs for hospital staff and the community, participating in research projects, and writing articles in collaboration with other practitioners. General duties may also include spa attendant responsibilities such as housekeeping, maintaining supplies, and assisting other practitioners with rooming. The position requires a compassionate, kind, and patient-focused approach, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, are also necessary for this role.
