About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: As a Dual Licensed Spa Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests of Cedar Creek Spa while performing any service within your assigned licensure. Average Hourly Conservative Range: $50-55/hour (base+tips+commission) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepare spa and service room at the beginning of each shift according to policies and procedures provided/SOP’S. Provide professional services including facials, body wraps, body polishes, facial waxing, therapeutic massages, prenatal massages, relaxation massages for guests following the outlined procedures for each service. Services provided in the spa are subject to ongoing changes and updates; should be prepared to provide any services that are offered and scheduled within your designated licensure. Make recommendations to guests for services, enhancements and upgrades to guests’ treatment(s) and notify the front desk accordingly. Review guest waivers and address concerns as needed. Maintain a high level of confidentiality with guest personal information and treatment details. Maintain a strong knowledge of products available in the spa. Should be able to make recommendations to sell or upsell products to guests. Continue with professional development including mandatory team meetings and trainings regarding products and protocols. All other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate(s) or License(s): Active Missouri Esthetician License, Active Missouri Massage Therapy License and/or Active Missouri Cosmetology License (including nails) Years of experience: 1-3 years experience required, luxury spa experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Previous experience in working in a services industry preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and associates at all levels. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail, with the ability to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: N/A PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work. Occasionally sits and lifts up to 50 lbs. Additional Physical Requirements (Please list if applicable) Ability to work in an environment that encourages quiet and relaxation, including exposure to products with fragrances Ability to work in an environment where you are 1:1 with a guest in private setting INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT : Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.

Requirements

  • Certificate(s) or License(s): Active Missouri Esthetician License, Active Missouri Massage Therapy License and/or Active Missouri Cosmetology License (including nails)
  • Years of experience: 1-3 years experience required
  • Previous experience in working in a services industry preferred.
