About The Position

The Massage Lead position at the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center is a full-time role responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of massage and acupuncture services. This position supervises staff, provides massage therapy to clients, and actively seeks to grow the clientele base. The role is split between administrative duties and direct service provision, with a focus on enhancing individual wellness goals through various massage modalities.

Requirements

• Licensed Massage Therapist in Colorado.
• Current CPR/AED certification or ability to secure one.
• Three years of experience in providing massage therapy services.
• Six months of previous experience managing personnel.
• Experience in building a clientele from a facility member base.
• Previous experience in various massage methods (e.g., sports massage, deep tissue, Swedish).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• One year of previous experience managing a team of massage therapists.
• Experience using CSI and/or Club Automation POS software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of massage and acupuncture services.
• Supervise massage and acupuncture staff, including recruitment and training.
• Provide fee-for-service massage to wellness center members and non-members.
• Assist in budget development with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
• Ensure effective communication of promotions and offerings to clientele.
• Oversee treatment room supplies and furnishings.
• Utilize member feedback to update services as needed.
• Work to acquire and retain massage clientele.
• Perform administrative duties as required.
