About The Position
Primary Purpose: Performs skilled masonry work, building, altering and repairing brick, stone, tile or ceramic structures and surfaces.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Five (5) years commercial construction experience
- Physically, workers must be able to: Stand or walk for long periods; use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects; lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds; climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects and carry tools and equipment; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and see well (naturally or with correction).
Responsibilities
- Install block, brick and stone
- Build leads
- Grout walls
- Layout and bond walls
- Verify height requirements
- Ensure proper joint finishes of units installed
- Demolition
- Provide own tools required for all job functions
