Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Repair and alter masonry walls by demolishing existing construction and installing new materials such as brick, concrete block, and tile.
  • Mix mortar according to job requirements for various masonry applications.
  • Apply scratch, brown, and white coats of plaster to repair and finish walls and ceilings.
  • Perform cement finishing duties as part of the maintenance and alterations program.
  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools for cutting and shaping brick and stone.
