About The Position

DeLeers Construction is growing our Masonry Team! We are looking for a Mason Tender to assist our experienced Masons. Mason Tenders are responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at residential and commercial construction job projects. They assist the masonry crew with project set up, materials management, prepping a variety of materials as needed, keeping jobsites, trailers, tools, and other materials organized and clean. Mason Tenders will also help Masons, Crew Leads, and others on the jobsite as needed to complete projects. Mason Tenders learn alongside the Masons and can promote into a Mason position with gained experience and skills. DeLeers Construction specializes in the design and build of high end residential homes and commercial buildings. Responsibilities

Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
Build concrete forms, scaffolds, platforms, screening fences, and temporary shelters on the job site.
Support the masons by supplying materials to the work area.
Prep materials as needed including mixing mortar and grout, cutting materials including brick, block, and stone.
Build scaffold and other work platforms as needed.
Transport materials, equipment, and other items needed.
Take direction from the team to ensure the flow of work and what tasks are needed to be completed.
Operate heavy equipment once trained.
Ensure that the jobsite, work trailers, and work areas are kept clean and organized.
Keep the masonry foreman updated on amount of material remaining as needed.
Assist masons in daily operations as required.
Must be able to switch between tasks throughout the day as situations arise or move from one type of material to the next.
Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
Inspects all work to ensure quality and accuracy with levels, rules, tape measures, squares, and other equipment, and makes necessary adjustments.
Follows all established safety rules and regulations, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and always maintains a safe and clean environment on the jobsite.
