About The Position

The City of Nashua is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Division of Public Works in the Streets Department as a Mason Pipelayer. This position repairs and installs sewer and drainpipes, catch basins, and headwalls, pours and finishes concrete block and brick walls. Installs forms for sidewalks, curb construction and repairs, and raises drain and sewer covers for paving; works from rough sketches with accurate dimensions. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm, is part of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 4, with an hourly rate not to exceed $28.95.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• High School diploma or certified equivalent
• Must possess valid CDL B license
• Knowledge of different types of cement and building materials

Responsibilities

• Repairs and installs sewer and drainpipes
