About The Position

Mason City School district is looking for positive people who are devoted to the safe transportation of our children. All of the costs (except for background check) for your Class B CDL training is covered by the district.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license, that has been held for at least 2 years.
• Pass an annual Physical.
• Pass FBI and BCI background check.
• Pass drug and alcohol test.
• Agree to semi-annual driving history check.
• Training to obtain Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers.
• Maintain a clean and safe bus environment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.

Benefits

• Starting pay $22.70.
• $2,000.00 bonus for new drivers after 6 months of employment.
• $2,000.00 bonus for current, Class B CDL drivers after 3 months of employment.
