About The Position
The Mascot Organization is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our team as a Mascot or Guide contractor. This role offers the exciting opportunity to entertain and engage with children and audiences at various events, including sports games, parades, and community gatherings. As a Mascot, you will be responsible for performing as mascot characters, using non-verbal communication techniques to captivate the crowd and promote awareness of our brand or organization through your performance. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for performing, love working with children, and enjoy bringing joy to others. In this role, you will collaborate with event organizers and team members to ensure a successful performance. You will be expected to interact with children and audiences in a fun and engaging manner, making use of your strong public speaking skills to connect with audiences of all ages. The ability to dance or move comfortably in a mascot costume is essential, as is the comfort of performing in front of large crowds. Knowledge of theater techniques and performance art is a plus, as it can enhance your ability to entertain effectively. This is a temporary, seasonal contract position with flexible scheduling options, allowing you to work both weekdays and weekends.
