About The Position

The Martial Arts Instructor position is for evenings, teaching beginners - advanced rank students. ACTIVSTARS allows our Martial Arts Instructors to teach their primary style, utilizing the ACTIVSTARS curriculum guidelines. Our class locations are held year-round, and we are looking for committed and dedicated instructors for long-term positions.

Requirements

• Must have a Black Belt in a Traditional Forms-Based Style
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from the location(s)
• Must have a passion for making a difference in a child's life
• Must have a solid technical foundation
• Must have solid knowledge of self-defense skills

Nice To Haves

• Certified black belt in a traditional based martial art
• Style in Karate, Taekwondo, Kenpo, Kung Fu, or equivalent forms-based martial art

Responsibilities

• Preparing classes
• Instructing students
• Overseeing class check-in
• Maintaining basic records
• Promoting tournaments, camps, or clinics
