The Early Career Summer internship program at Marsh is a 10-week experience designed for current juniors, where interns will work directly with senior advisors and brokers. This internship provides hands-on experience in risk management and insurance broking, allowing interns to help clients identify risks to their people, property, or financial and strategic goals. Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients to assess risks, build relationships with insurance companies, and secure competitive insurance quotes, thereby making a significant impact in helping clients minimize their overall risk costs. Throughout the internship, participants will be aligned to a specific business group and will work closely with an account team. A typical day may include exposure to diverse client accounts, shadowing senior leaders, preparing presentations for client meetings, developing renewal strategy documents, and collaborating with other interns on business projects. The program emphasizes the importance of teamwork, analytical thinking, flexibility, and strong communication skills, all of which are essential for success in the field of risk management and insurance broking. Upon completion of the internship, exceptional juniors may receive an offer to join Marsh's full-time program, furthering their career in this dynamic industry.
