In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Requirements
- master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
- Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a marriage and family therapist preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Perform regular wellness checks
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
