About The Position

The Markets Operations Business Intelligence & Low Code Team drives transformational change within Operations by optimizing processes. We collaborate closely with Operations teams to design and implement Target Operating Models, focusing on automation using Low-Code Solutions and Core Technology platforms. Our mission is to provide cutting-edge solutions that empower Operations professionals to deliver exceptional client service, maintain robust risk management, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant financial experience.
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools (data/process mining, visualizations & dashboards, data modelling etc) and applying analysis to real world use cases.
  • Understanding of low code applications such RPA, Data Transformation Tools and Workflow Automation Platforms
  • Technical understanding of core processes and business lines within Market Operations e.g. allocations, reconciliations, confirmations payment processing etc.
  • Track record of identifying and executing automation opportunities.
  • Understanding of both agile and waterfall project execution
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing work environments.
  • Business analysis experience
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Highly organized and effective communicator
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure creation of project plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
  • Identify key stakeholders who will participate in project scope definition.
  • Identify, document, and understand project dependencies.
  • Establish project communication needs and support creation of project communication plan.
  • Monitor program/project progress and provide regular status reports to the stakeholders and contribute to status meetings.
  • Adhere to PM methodology, all mandated Citi procedures, tools, and standards.
  • Coordinate the operational and IT development teams to adhere to the projects scope and ensure execution of the UAT plan.
  • Responsible for implementing various Transformation related projects/use cases using low code tools like Appian, Xceptor, and other BPM tools
  • Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
  • Take a leadership role in creating and driving solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
