About The Position

CookUnity is a platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Founded in 2018, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. The company is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on empowering chefs to nourish the world. They are looking for a Supervisor to join their team in New York to help improve efficiency and reliability for customers. The Supervisor will support the Culinary or Marketplace Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring effective execution of operational SOPs.

Requirements

• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Be able to stand, walk, stoop, reach and lift for a minimum of 8 hours without any reasonable accommodations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High proficiency level of Spanish

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jack to move pallets of product
• Handle receiving, inventory counting, ordering, returns, and scheduling
• Ensure the organization of dry storage, walk-ins, and freezers within the Marketplace
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by leaders
• Help to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment
• Enforce food safety standards and FIFO methods to ensure the freshness of food
