What you will do: We are looking for a MARKETPLACE PRODUCT MANAGER who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.

  • Design, develop and manage marketplace product portfolio.
  • Provide oversight to the Product Submission team for the annual cross-functional state filing and Qualified Health Plan (QHP) submission process.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the certification process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Partner with the Business Operations Manager to align product strategies and deliverables with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with operations teams and sales channel partners on annual product configuration and validation of product and rate content across sales platforms.
  • Establish and manage review processes to ensure products meet regulatory requirements, including essential health benefits, actuarial value standards, and benchmark plan alignment.
  • Apply independent judgment and subject matter expertise to resolve complex issues and balance multiple competing priorities across functional areas.
  • Maintain awareness of business cycles, industry trends, and marketplace regulations to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Advise leadership on exchange segment–specific strategies that impact growth, cost management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage small to medium-sized teams, ensuring successful delivery of multiple initiatives within tight deadlines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product development, submission, and compliance processes.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Health Administration, Economics, Finance, Public Health, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in product launch and execution, and product portfolio management; 2+ years of Project Leadership experience and/or experience with commercial business and healthcare policy and regulations is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and the ability to navigate ambiguity to develop effective solutions. Possesses strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Exhibits a proven ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply them effectively within a business environment. Skilled in translating complex business and financial analytics into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Build trust and collaborate effectively across departments and with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of health plan operations, CMS, and state healthcare regulations, and the methodologies that support product development and ongoing operational excellence. Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values. Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) with ability to work with a variety of project management tools. May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.
  • Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.
