As the Marketplace Business Development Lead , you’ll be a strategic leader responsible for driving growth and shaping the assortment strategy for Best Buy’s Marketplace. You will oversee the end-to-end business development approach, build a strong inbound and outbound pipeline while ensuring monthly close rates align with marketplace goals. You will collaborate closely with the 1P category teams and marketplace seller growth teams to evaluate market opportunities and develop acquisition strategies that attract new accounts, expand assortment, and increase inventory. This position is ideal for a player-coach—someone who can actively engage in high-value deals and partnerships while guiding the team to exceed sales targets. The successful candidate combines strong leadership, analytical thinking, and marketplace expertise to influence category expansion, enhance the seller experience, and deliver measurable GMV growth. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.
