About The Position

The Marketing Web Developer at Instructure will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the company's highly trafficked education website. This position involves building, configuring, and customizing Drupal sites while collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, particularly with Drupal, and possesses a keen eye for design and code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of PHP development experience
• 3+ years of experience working with open-source enterprise content management platforms (Drupal, Joomla, etc.)
• Strong knowledge in both front- and back-end, including component and theme development
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, MYSQL, JavaScript, and jQuery
• An open and effective communicator across multiple levels of an organization
• Ability to prioritize and set expectations as needed
• Experience working across multiple levels, teams, and geographies in fast-paced and deadline-driven situations

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on high-performing web development teams, with a track record of delivery and quality
• Hands-on experience with tools for project management like Asana
• Previous experience working with global websites, with a deep understanding of Drupal translations and multi-site management
• Experience with Google Analytics, GTM, and other analytics tools

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Drupal web environment for instructure.com and affiliated properties
• Partner with marketing stakeholders to define requirements for new page/component development
• Build or manage a website using Layout Builder components
• Work closely with web producers to ensure pages are implemented correctly
• Quickly address and resolve any bugs/defects identified
