About The Position

Dixie Technical College is looking for a creative and data-driven Marketing & Web Design Lead to support our digital and traditional marketing efforts. This role fits a versatile marketing professional who can lead strategy and also create content. You will help grow brand awareness, increase student enrollment, and engage the community with strong storytelling, performance marketing, and effective creative design across all media. The position is on our campus in Saint George, Utah, and requires the employee to work on-site 40 hours per week. Medical and dental coverage, with the College paying the costs of the medical plan and most of the costs of the dental plan Employer contributions to Health Savings Account ($1,500 per year for single coverage, $3,000 double coverage, and $4,500 for three or more) without a match requirement Employer contributions to a 403(b) account, amounting to 20.4% of the employee's pay, without a match requirement. Employees may make additional contributions. Salaried employees do not pay Social Security taxes Employer-provided life insurance, AD&D, and LTD at no cost Paid holidays, as well as Christmas, Fall, Thanksgiving, and Spring Breaks on the schedule of the local school district 15 days of paid vacation per year

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Experience in social media management, digital marketing, and multichannel campaigns.
  • Strong photography, videography, and video production skills.
  • Solid graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Experience with paid online marketing, social analytics, Google Analytics, and automation platforms.
  • Good understanding of SEO and multichannel campaign strategy.
  • Background in both digital and traditional ads.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficient with WordPress web design tools like Divi and Elementor.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less.
  • The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a strategic content calendar for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and new platforms.
  • Produce quality photo, video, and written content that highlights our programs, students, faculty, and campus life.
  • Engage with followers and track performance to improve reach and conversions.
  • Use AI tools to boost content speed and creativity.
  • Plan and run paid campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Monitor budgets and performance with analytics tools.
  • Develop digital assets for ads, social media, web, billboards, TV, and print.
  • Capture and edit photos and videos for marketing initiatives.
  • Design flyers, signage, graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Update and build web pages using WordPress with the Divi builder, including images and graphics.
  • Manage TV, radio, billboard, print, and community sponsorship ads.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all channels.
  • Create and manage targeted email campaigns for recruitment and engagement.
  • Use CRM and automation tools to nurture leads and track results.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and college departments.
  • Manage outside marketing partners.
  • Support college events with marketing material and promotion.
  • Report to the VP of Marketing and support long-term goals.
  • Compliance with Dixie Tech Policies and Procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
