About The Position

The Video and Media Manager is responsible for creating beautiful, on-brand video content that tells an authentic story of who we are as an organization and how God is transforming lives at Mount Hermon. This is a Ministerial position, where staff are expected to demonstrate their faith and commitment to the Christian mission of Mount Hermon Association, Inc. (MHA). The role involves defining, cultivating, and leading MHA's Christian community, conference programs, and retreats, with all staff participating in gatherings that include prayer, worship, and Bible-centered teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Videography or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum two years of experience in video production required.
• Must have a portfolio featuring many examples of branded and relevant footage.
• Expertise in the creative suite, as well as video editing and motion graphic programs - Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, film, and edit video content for fundraising, program events, capturing customer stories, external promotions, social media, product marketing, recruiting, corporate training, and other organization-wide projects.
• Assist the Senior Director of Communications and Marketing in creating the strategic plan for video marketing of Mount Hermon's programs and events.
• Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects.
• Plan video shoots, including scouting, selecting, and reserving shoot locations.
• Manage video library as well as other media.
• Manage all departmental equipment (video, sound, photography, etc.).
• Supervise Summer Staff Videographers.
• Assist with Digital Marketing of Mount Hermon programs and events.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
