About The Position

As a Marketing Transformation Product Owner for offer management in Card Marketing LOB, you will lead the charge in developing a transformative roadmap for offer data, working closely with execution teams to innovate and streamline processes. Your role involves crafting a centralized offer data management strategy and integrating it with other content types, ensuring quality, speed, and efficiency in marketing execution. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll design and implement new processes and capabilities, driving impactful change in the industry's largest marketing execution space. Your leadership will be pivotal in uniting teams, overcoming barriers, and delivering consistent marketing and customer experiences. We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic leader to deliver a breakthrough process and capability transformation roadmap for offer data across Card Marketing. The candidate will need to take a visionary and innovative approach to developing a strategy for how we (a) work hand in hand with execution teams to ideate offer related capabilities to support critical marketing strategy needs (b) develop a centralized offer data management strategy across acquisitions and existing customer portfolios (c) enable capabilities to allow for integration between offer data and other content types (e.g. disclosures and offer data) and (d) establish process redesign and automation for offer request intake, execution, and management - to meet our business goals of marketing execution quality, speed, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of related experience (product owner preferred; marketing or program management helpful)
  • End to end program delivery experience - including understanding of best practices, tools, and processes
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity to ensure successful and timely execution - strategic thinker with proven analytical abilities
  • Proven ability to manage a team through ambiguity typical of a large-scale business initiative and define path forward
  • Familiarity with agile practices and collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, Lucid, Figma, Visio, Excalidraw, Tableau and Microsoft Teams)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought leader, driving strategic, complex, and highly visible programs across LOBs and functions from initiation to delivery.
  • Be accountable for strategic design and the establishment of new capabilities and ways of working.
  • Lead successful end-to-end execution and delivery of program objectives, including project conception, planning, requirements gathering, solutioning, governance, and decision-making.
  • Lead a squad of cross-functional team members to establish a problem statement, opportunity goals, baseline data, measures of success, and business requirements.
  • Facilitate ideation sessions across a matrixed group of stakeholders and consolidate a single, prioritized solution across a complex program.
  • Maintain an analytical mindset to understand, develop, and synthesize requirements, risks, and cross-dependencies during roadmap delivery.
  • Ensure communication, alignment, and coordination across all stakeholders by creating and facilitating project status and executive summary presentations.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Legal, and Regulatory Controls teams, to understand pain points, gather requirements, and drive solutions.
  • Collaborate with the program manager on an ongoing governance model to monitor and communicate progress, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Create an environment where all voices are heard, and ideas are openly welcomed and debated.
