GEICO is seeking an experienced Marketing Transformation Business Manager to support the Marketing Group’s Agenda. The Marketing Transformation Business Manager will partner with the MG Leadership Team and other key partners to manage the organization’s priorities. The focus of this role will be to help drive GEICO’s MG’s people, talent, operations and communication agendas. The role will build the transformation office within GEICO. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communcations, Media, Advertising, Business, Product) and 5+ years of experience in human resources management, insurance, business planning, operations management, strategy, program management, or related role(s)
  • Effective written and oral communications with ability to story-tell business and human resources analytics and build executive-level reports and presentations
  • Can communicate clearly and professionally with partners of all levels including senior executives
  • Self-starter with strong collaboration skills, with proven ability to work across organizational and reporting boundaries to get things done
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities in fast-paced and ambiguous environment; can adjust priorities, decisions, and actions to respond to multiple demands, unexpected events, and current information daily
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing improvements that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Strong Excel and MS Office applications skills with ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations and excel analyses

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a business management or equivalent role in a complex operations organization that spans multiple US and/or international locations
  • Experience working strategically and collaboratively across multiple functions
  • Experience in diagnosing pain points for teams, moving them to good, and going the extra mile to ensure they are great
  • Ability to smooth out collaboration across groups, challenge decisions, question judgment, and voice concerns

Responsibilities

  • Run high visibility projects, ranging from operational efficiency, change management, analytic deep dives, team off-sites, and annual planning.
  • Partner with MG Leadership Team to maintain related progress updates to the outlined annual and long-term business priorities, goals and metrics.
  • Manage and triage the workflow. Prioritize, delegate, and complete work.
  • Support the enablement of the team to prioritize and get after what is the most impactful for our teams and identify any roadblock that might get in the way.
  • Ensure the team is a smoothly running engine, with team wellness and high engagement at the core, enabling healthy team collaboration, efficient project management, robust data and reporting, and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Manage aspects of regular business reviews, financial/budget updates and other related reports and materials.
  • Organize and deliver MG Organization-specific news, hiring updates, relevant projects content, and employee recognition via evolving channels including SharePoint and Slack.
  • Track and help execute follow-ups from key meetings.
  • Create meaningful content for C-Suite speaking engagements and presentations.
  • Manage long range vision planning for the MG Organization, including maintaining and overseeing the overall MG calendar.
  • Gather content, organize agendas, and provide logistical support for team events such as Town Halls, Staff Meetings, onsite events, and monthly KK calls.
