About The Position

The Marketing Traffic Coordinator serves as the operational hub of the Sound Income Group marketing department, managing the flow of projects from intake through final delivery. This role converts incoming requests into clear briefs, timelines, and actionable project plans while ensuring work moves efficiently across the marketing team. Working across an 18-person team spanning creative, digital, video, copy, web, and client success functions, the coordinator oversees workflow, prioritization, and project coordination across multiple initiatives. Success in this role comes from creating structure, maintaining visibility into timelines and team capacity, and removing bottlenecks so the team can deliver high-quality work consistently and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a traffic coordinator, project manager, or marketing operations role within a creative agency or in-house marketing department.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects across creative disciplines, including design, copy, video, digital, print, and web.
  • Hands-on experience with ClickUp or comparable project management platforms (Asana, Monday.com).
  • Working knowledge of digital and print production workflows and asset handoff requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong process-building mindset with the ability to design and document workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong quality control instincts.
  • Calm, solutions-oriented, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across teams without direct authority.
  • Comfortable managing deadlines, clarifying expectations, and maintaining accountability.
  • Ability to work for extended periods at a desk using a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds if/when necessary.
  • Routine use of telephone and email.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience routing marketing materials through compliance or legal review processes preferred.
  • Project management certification is a plus.
