Position Overview The Marketing Support Specialist is responsible for supporting marketing and branding efforts across the company's retail network. This individual will coordinate resources and work with Financial Center staff to ensure a consistent brand and customer experience relating to Financial Center signage and materials, promotional items, Financial Center events, and community events. This is an on-site position located in Harrisburg, PA.

Requirements

  • A B.S. or B.A. degree in marketing or communications, or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in related positions normally required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and able to meet deadlines required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Travel as needed throughout the Mid Penn Bank footprint required.
  • Specific knowledge of the aspects of marketing/communications/public relations including product/promotion/price/place variables.
  • Understanding of integrated marketing principles as that relates to developing marketing/communications/public relations plans that support goals.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficiency in analyzing, interpreting, and implementing marketing strategy; a working knowledge of current and proposed regulations affecting the marketing function; proficient composition skills; proficient PC skills; ability to adopt new technologies and systems to accomplish marketing and communication goals; ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 40 lbs. or less; visual, auditory and speaking skills; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates community and volunteer events, including parades, tabling, festivals, and other bank involved occasions.
  • Supports Corporate Events Planner with internal and external events, including, but not limited, ribbon cuttings, annual golf tournament, and mixers.
  • Provides support to the retail staff in their execution of community-involved events by coordinating branded items, promotional items, and marketing materials.
  • Manages incoming sponsorships and donations.
  • Works with each region to ensure the sponsorship organization receives all marketing benefits, such as logo, advertising opportunities, promotional materials, and signage.
  • Ensures consistency of the Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc., and its subsidiaries' brand in all Financial Centers across the company's footprint, including logo mats, pens, notepads, etc.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and structures which support the execution of company-wide and regional marketing efforts, in an efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner.
  • Serves as a liaison with outside agencies, resources, or vendors that provide outsource marketing support to achieve marketing plan goals.
  • Provides support for the annual golf tournament event.
  • Manages full life cycle of promotional items, apparel, customer gifts, and branded baskets.
  • Provides reporting on marketing and promotional materials; tracks expenses and ensures budgets are being met; ensures fulfillment of new and existing materials and manages relationships with vendors.
  • Maintains documents for all sponsorships and in-kind donations.
  • Tracks reporting on employee apparel and customer gift stores.
