About The Position

The Marketing Summer Intern will support Laerdal’s marketing team by contributing to analytics, content development, and campaign execution across key initiatives. In this role, the intern will assist in updating and creating marketing assets, gathering competitive insights, and helping develop materials that strengthen Laerdal’s value proposition. They will conduct customer interviews to capture testimonials, collaborate with Product Marketing, Events, and Lead Specialists, and support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns. This internship offers hands-on experience across multiple marketing functions, providing opportunities to build cross-functional relationships and gain exposure to real-world marketing strategy and operations.

Requirements

  • Intern must be available to commit to the entire summer internship (approximately May - August) and work up to five days a week in the Wappingers Falls, NY office (with reliable transportation and local housing). This position may be eligible for a hybrid work structure.
  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Marketing.
  • Must be able to work with in-office and remote team members.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Effective team player with enthusiasm for contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business analytics and develop frameworks to improve marketing operations.
  • Assist in updating key marketing assets for internal and external stakeholders, such as sales impact cards, sell sheets, and website content.
  • Support the development of compelling marketing materials to enhance value perception and identify market gaps.
  • Conduct customer interviews to gather success stories and testimonials.
  • Assist marketing team members with various marketing projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers, the Events team, and Lead Specialists on various marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to marketing campaign strategy and execution.
  • Gather competitive intelligence through online research, internal resources, and collaboration with the sales team.
  • Build relationships with the marketing team and cross-functional departments.
