About The Position

Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking a Summer Intern to join our Marketing team. Under supervision, the intern will support the implementation of a new media asset management (MAM) system by helping organize, audit, and prepare existing creative assets for migration. Through our internship process, Glatfelter continues our proud tradition of community involvement. Our summer interns will be immersed in corporate culture, included in shadowing and networking events, and enriched through career development seminars.

Requirements

  • A college Junior or Senior who is currently pursuing studies in digital design or web development
  • Achievement of a 3.0 or higher-grade point average
  • Someone who has the ability to work 30 hours per week at our York office location, starting May 18, 2026 to Aug 7, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Review current file structures
  • Tag and categorize assets based on established metadata frameworks
  • Identify gaps or redundancies in the existing library
  • Assist in documenting workflows, naming conventions, and best-practice guidelines to ensure consistency and long-term scalability
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to gather requirements, validate asset organization logic, and test the MAM system's features, such as searchability, tagging accuracy, and permission settings
  • Contribute directly to creating a streamlined, efficient, and user-friendly asset ecosystem that supports future content creation and brand management
