Job Summary: As a Marketing Summer Intern, you will work closely across our marketing team to support the development of healthcare provider peer-to-peer disease education and evaluate the payor coverage landscape for a recently launched product. This role provides valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and exposure to marketing strategies that drive business growth.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in business or life sciences, or a PharmD program
- Strong interest in pharmaceutical commercial strategy and brand management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders
- Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of disease education programs to establish new treatment paradigms in rare disease.
- Engage with cross-functional teams including sales and medical affairs to gather insights and align on marketing strategies
- Support the team by monitoring and analyzing payor market trends, competitive activities, and understanding customer needs to support decision-making
- Assist in analyzing the payor coverage landscape for a newly launched product providing an overview of the access landscape
- Participate in team meetings, providing updates on assigned tasks and projects
