About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Summer 2026 Intern at UL Research Institutes, based in our Columbia, MD office. This 3-month internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a non-profit research environment, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop valuable skills in market research and analysis. What you’ll learn and achieve: As the Marketing Summer 2026 Intern you will play a key role in the rapid growth of UL as you: Assist in amplifying research projects related to FSRI safety mission and goals. This may involve organizing events, creating web content, social media, presentations, and other written materials. Help collect and organize content following standard operating procedures. Work closely with the research amplification team and other departments to gather information, share information, and contribute to a collaborative and innovative work environment. Assist in managing and organizing projects, ensuring they are on brand, on schedule, and within budget. Take on specific tasks related to project goals. Perform administrative duties as needed, including data entry, scheduling, and coordination of meetings. Requirements

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in copywriting for marketing communications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in a related field (e.g., communications, marketing, public relations etc.). Recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Strong interest in the non-profit sector.
