About The Position

Zirtual is a work-life balanced company that offers clients experienced, educated remote assistants for their personal and professional needs. Our Marketing Specialists strive to meet and exceed client needs and expectations. The Marketing Specialist is a vital member of Zirtual. The Marketing Specialist is the main point of contact with clients and will work independently with them. The Marketing Specialist will receive support from their assigned Account Supervisor, who will assist with the client relationship, plan modifications, questions, and provide feedback on quality, strategy, and more. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and executing marketing initiatives for a variety of clients. You will serve as a key point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively, content is engaging, and marketing efforts align with business goals. You will work independently while receiving support and guidance from your Account Supervisor. Assistants are expected to be available for clients during business hours as agreed upon with each client but around-the-clock availability is not expected. Virtual Assistants send weekly usage reports, respond to all communication within a two-hour response window, maintain detailed and up-to-date client profiles, and follow Zirtual's best practices for success. This role requires strong attention to detail, creativity, knowledge of marketing best practices, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles and digital strategies

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2–4+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience with digital campaigns, content creation, and analytics
  • Marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or similar)
  • Social media platforms and ad managers (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn)
  • Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Reliable high-speed internet, computer, and phone
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security standards
  • Available during business hours PST or EST Monday–Friday, unless otherwise agreed in writing with each client

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with client goals
  • Plan, launch, and manage digital marketing campaigns

  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding campaigns and strategy
