About The Position

Assists with the in-store signage support for Dollar General’s weekly print & digital marketing programs,including monthly Temporary Price Reductions (TPRs). Includes daily relationship with creative agency & production supplier (Vestcom) to ensure the design of accurate in-store communications (signing). Position also partners with suppliers to ensure that all customer-facing materials for Dollar General meet our brand standards and are consistent with brand standards. Assists in approval of all on-shelf signing generated thru our DGMN, and to ensure those POP materials adhere to brand standards and are consistent with Dollar General approved signing and co-marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign for in-house sign production.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic understanding of prepress and print production processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Support Dollar General’s weekly print and digital in-store signage programs, including monthly TPR (Temporary Price Reduction) promotions.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Merchandising, and Store Planning to execute Stackz and promotional signage programs.
  • Edit promotional copy, prepare files, submit materials to Vestcom, track approvals, and manage timelines for 40+ ad versions across DG and DG Market stores.
  • Collect, organize, and validate POP (point-of-purchase) content from Merchandising, Marketing, and POG teams to ensure compliance with weights & measures policies.
  • Manage proofing workflows by ensuring all stakeholders review, correct, and approve materials before release to production.
  • Ensure accurate print sequencing and store-format alignment to maximize in-store installation efficiency.
  • Review and adjust talker quantities per offer to ensure accurate customer communication and reduce store labor impact.
  • Handle sign requests including tracking, reprints, reorders, and field inquiries for the full store chain.
  • Maintain day-to-day operational relationship with Vestcom, including workflow management, scheduling, issue resolution, and corrective actions related to pricing/offers.
  • Design and produce in-house signage as needed to meet urgent deadlines and last-minute corrections (START tasks, ad/offer fixes).
