Yolo Federal Credit Union is looking for a Marketing Specialist that is dependable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has a high sense of prioritization when it comes to juggling multiple tasks. This role is responsible for supporting the marketing department in creating and coordinating various initiatives that include campaigns, public relations, website maintenance, email marketing, and advertising. Additionally, you'll be responsible for creatively developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and grow our presence across platforms. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for crafting compelling content—whether it's text, images, or videos—that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand voice. You'll continuously implement innovative ideas to elevate our online presence and foster a vibrant, engaged community. Our Marketing Specialist is integral in helping Yolo FCU tell its story to our members and our community. Potential hybrid schedule remote work capabilities available based on employee eligibility following a probationary period. The candidate selected for this role is expected to attend and actively participate in credit union and community events on a regular basis.

  • Create and coordinate production of print and digital marketing materials.
  • Coordinate community events, donations, and sponsorships.
  • Lead member and employee communication efforts.
  • Create and implement multi-touch email marketing campaigns.
  • Write, revise, and edit copy for a variety of marketing materials/publications.
  • Evaluate market reactions to marketing programs and make necessary adjustments to communication styles and media placement.
  • Assist with monitoring and updating social media channels.
  • Ability to create and implement various technology channels, such as video, email, and blogs.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of marketing promotions and materials in a knowledge database for quick and efficient access, including categorization of all graphic files, photos, artwork, design layouts, and all finished materials.
  • Assist with maintenance of digital touchpoints including, but not limited to, on-hold messaging, various campaigns, and digital signage.
  • Responsible for staying apprised of digital marketing trends and new technologies.
  • Generate new, creative ideas for promotional campaigns to increase market share and achieve goals.
  • Ensure Yolo FCU’s branding standards are consistently met with appropriate logos, fonts, images, and typography.
  • BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred and at least 2 years of marketing experience.
  • Graphic design experience required, including knowledge of Adobe inDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and digital communication and copywriting skills.
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms; explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to individuals and groups; research and resolve inquiries; demonstrate initiative and work independently with a minimum of supervision; work under time constraints to meet deadlines; and organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities and projects.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Google Analytics experience and Google AdWords certification desired.
  • Multi-channel and multi-media experience.
