About The Position

The Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing Team (Commercial Director, Director of Public Relations, and Digital Marketing Manager) to develop, generate and execute awareness of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail and its key offerings including but not limited to all forms of public relations, paid advertising, social media, email marketing, mobile communications and online reputation management. The role involves working directly with the Director of Public Relations to assist with the execution of public relations and marketing strategies (digital and traditional) including media visits and coverage, tracking of all related efforts and other initiatives as directed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing preferred.
  • PR, hospitality, social media, and online marketing experience.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communications skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the Four Seasons style, tonality, and vernacular of the current 'voice' of employee and consumer facing social mediums.
  • Attention to detail, extremely organized.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of projects/programs.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile, emerging and social media applications.
  • Computer savvy with Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Current work authorization in the United States.

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and implementing related media coverage and promotions.
  • Work with PRD to provide media with relevant hotel news, digital assets, and timely pitching opportunities.
  • Conduct media and influencer property tours and develop itineraries.
  • Manage PR/editorial tracking and create monthly recaps.
  • Prepare for and attend PR/F&B/Spa marketing meetings as well as other meetings pertinent to promotions.
  • Assist with pre-production, production, and post with video and photo shoots at the hotel.
  • Create new, on-brand photography for social media posts.
  • Assist with online and social reputation management for Resort, Spa, and Restaurants.
  • Manage content and implementation for all (integrated) social media initiatives and web content with PRD and Digital Marketing Manager (DMM).
  • Assist DMM with social media analytics, monitoring tools, and report results.
  • Assist Marketing Team in executing, placing, and tracking paid advertising.
  • Create collateral including elevator cards, in-room collateral, brochures, and flyers.
  • Monitor the hotel's presence on all relevant websites, ensuring content is accurate and updated.
