About The Position

The Digital Content Specialist position is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, execution, and optimization of content across digital channels to promote national brands, exclusively branded products, and company service offerings. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including marketing leadership, brand managers, supplier partners, and content creators, to ensure alignment with brand standards and business goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
  • 3 - 5 Years of experience; Candidates should have foundational knowledge of marketing or communications, gained through academic studies, internships, or related experience.
  • Strong writing skills and an interest in content planning, development, and coordination.
  • Familiarity with managing content across digital platforms such as social media, websites, or email marketing is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree would be considered in lieu of experience, with a minimum of one year experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field.
  • At least one year of experience in content management or digital marketing role, preferably corporate experience in brands or marketing group.
  • Proven ability to support content strategy, maintain editorial calendars, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to transform complex information into compelling, audience-focused content.
  • Keen interest in emerging digital trends and a proactive approach to integrating new strategies and tools into existing marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of supplier contact for the Digital/Content Team; develop, maintain, and present information that relays digital marketing opportunities available to supplier partners participating in our National Marketing Program.
  • Facilitate the formatting, uploading, and distribution of supplier-provided content for use across internal and external digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the National Marketing Program team to plan and schedule annual digital sponsorship placements, ensuring consistency and timely execution.
  • Maintain effective relationships with supplier partners, internal stakeholders, and third-party content contributors to support consistent and accurate content placement throughout company channels.
  • Assist with topic assignments to freelance and internal copywriters including sourcing of new writers, invoice management, deadlines, topic assignments, etc.
  • Perform initial review and editing of submitted content from freelance copywriters and supplier marketing teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Research and select appropriate product imagery from internal digital asset management (DAM) systems and approved stock image platforms, ensuring proper usage and brand alignment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
