Marketing - Salary - Junior Analyst, Pricing

About the position

The Jr. Pricing Analyst will determine best practices and develop better insights and recommendations for the current business operations or issues. In addition, this individual will perform advanced business analysis with the help of several techniques, e.g., statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining. To do well in this role, you need an excellent eye for detail and experience as a data analyst.

Responsibilities

• Perform various data analytics in MS Excel using advanced formulas or industry-accepted tools.
• Provide data solutions and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for other departments to utilize.
• Provide innovative analytical insights and identify business opportunities using statistical and visualization procedures.
• Implement data integrity and normalization initiatives while overseeing ad hoc management reports.
• Create technical memos that document data processing decisions and summarize data quality.
• Responsible for developing and executing tools to monitor and report on data quality.
• Support periodic (annual, quarterly, monthly) budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform data into recommendations to senior leadership.
• Advanced MS Excel and experience mining and analyzing data.
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently when needed, prioritize activities, manage timelines, and effectively deal with a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior J.D. Edwards experience and/or SQL skills are a plus.
