About The Position

The Marketing Research Senior Specialist plays a crucial role in Deloitte's Audit & Assurance (A&A) Growth Team, focusing on driving business development and sales strategy through data-driven insights. This position involves collaborating with team members to enhance market presence and brand awareness, conducting research to identify market opportunities, and supporting relationship-building activities. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, English or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience in sales, business development, pursuits or marketing, preferably in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects & deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft suite - Word, Power Point, and Excel.
  • Comfortable engaging with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with A&A Growth Team members to support initiatives aimed at increasing market presence and brand awareness.
  • Interfaces with internal resources to identify, request, and analyze research to inform professionals of market opportunities.
  • Supports target teams with company and competitor research, relationship mapping, and tracking progress of relationship-building activities.
  • Promotes a growth culture mentality within the A&A practice by presenting tools and platforms to partners and staff.
  • Assists with reporting, target list management/updates, and web-based tool management.
  • Tracks market and industry developments to support regular target team meetings.
  • Creates client-facing meeting materials.
  • Liaises with local A&A leaders and proposal support to respond to new opportunities.
  • Coordinates/contributes to A&A Growth Team national projects.
  • Supports practice metrics, including CRM system utilization and reporting.
