About The Position

The Marketing and Public Relations Project Manager is responsible for routing marketing projects throughout the full life cycle. The Project Manager arranges and monitors movement of project request through development and the approval process; between all stakeholders including, project owner, creative, all final reviews and approvals. The Project Manager reviews and posts status on active projects in the marketing /creative development. The Project Manager also tracks and/or physically moves projects from one step of development/approval to the next. A project management tracking tool is used to track all movements and history of all projects. Candidates for this position must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be deadline-driven and highly organized. Accuracy and an acute attention to detail are also critical to the role. Candidates must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively, and possess excellent planning and problem-solving skills to be successful. This position requires a strong work ethic, self-motivation, confidence and the ability to work with different personalities as a team player.   • Experience - 2+ years of Project Management Experience

Responsibilities

  • Create or assist in the creation of multiple project plans and schedules.
  • Manage all incoming project requests.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to help coordinate marketing campaigns and the needed creative assets.
  • Monitor the daily progress of projects.
  • Be proactive in meeting all deadlines, ensuring projects are sent for proof, released and approved on time.
  • Provide detailed updates to clients, team members or other stakeholders.
  • Ensure team members have the correct information they need to complete their assigned tasks on time.
  • Work efficiently through high volumes while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Take appropriate action if a deadline is not being met.
  • All other duties as assigned.
