About The Position

We are looking for a Marketing/Proposal Associate to become part of our creative, collaborative, and high-energy proposal team. As an integral part of the marketing team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative proposals, presentations, and other materials that help win new projects for Clark. This full-time, in-office position is based in Houston, Texas. Some travel is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Communications, English, Business, Political Science, or other relevant focus of study in writing, communications, and/or critical analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, and the ability to coordinate the activities of various team members when faced with multiple deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills with a hands-on and team-oriented attitude.
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
• Proficiency using the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign) for professional document design and layout.
• Technical writing background and/or marketing experience for professional services.
• Salesforce/CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively executes multiple, concurrent foundational assignments—such as resumes, project pages, and small qualification packages—while maintaining CRM data accuracy and acting as a reliable production resource for the broader team.
• The preparation of qualifications, proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials, including assisting with research, layout, editing, coordinating among team members, and printing/production.
• Maintenance of marketing and business development materials. including databases.
• Miscellaneous marketing support.
