About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all client campaigns through the project lifecycle, including scoping projects and timelines, creating estimates, and managing budgets and work-back schedules. This role requires facilitating consistent communication between the agency's Creative, Project Management, and Account Management teams to ensure the on-time delivery of all client campaigns while maintaining budget and quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with vendors and contractors, ensuring that all elements are executed on-time and within scope and budget. They must be effective problem solvers, adept at anticipating issues and recognizing opportunities for efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding and proven experience with creative workflows for print, video, and digital production.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Project Management, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate environment focusing on marketing and advertising messaging strategies.
  • Experience managing at least one direct report is preferable.
  • Experience with project management workflow software, preferably Workfront.
  • Proficiency or working knowledge of MAC OS and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project kickoff, presenting key deliverables, initial Spec Sheets, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules daily.
  • Catch project scope creep.
  • Stay within agreed upon budget and inform all parties of any changes to scope/assumptions/issues that arise.
  • Manage and update project work-back schedules.
  • Identify and proactively resolve any deliverables that might fall behind schedule.
  • Manage tactical quality of all client partner deliverables.
  • Ensure smooth handoff of deliverables from Creative Services to IMCD and IT departments.
  • Facilitate estimate development and confirmation of vendor selection and final production schedules.
  • Ensure handoff of print/production ready files to vendors for production.
  • Manage project transactions on a weekly basis.
  • Alert Senior Management team of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing.
  • Monitor day-to-day project activities and resourcing.
  • Arrange weekly meetings with Professional Services Management team to discuss all active projects.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
