About the position

Harbar LLC is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Project Manager to drive product strategy and manage new product development (NPD) for Maria and Ricardo's. This role involves managing key cross-functional innovation and product efforts across the product portfolio, reporting directly to the CEO, and collaborating with various departments including Integrated Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Purchasing. The position is crucial for leading product management initiatives and executing brand activation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product management for the existing portfolio of M&R products, recommending and leading product initiatives in support of business and financial goals.
  • Develop and execute channel-informed product strategies, prioritizing trends to support product development and enhancements.
  • Manage MR product innovation, setting objectives and guiding tortilla and designated non-tortilla ideation to market launch through a structured stage-gate process.
  • Coordinate and lead local execution for brand activation and content development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree desirable.
  • 3-5 years in product management within CPG or food industry settings.
  • Experience in management of product development/innovation, cross-functional teams, project management, packaging development, and transitions.
  • Familiarity with the Mexican foods category and passion for the food industry.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • High proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.

  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing strategy and execution.
  • Strong collaborator with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
