The Marketing Manager for Guinness Open Gate Breweries will be responsible for driving market awareness and site visitation for the OGBs, managing communication and messaging, and ensuring compliance with marketing standards.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years+ marketing experience in beverage alcohol, hospitality, or destination/experience.
  • Experience working with breweries/taprooms, product innovation, and brand activations preferred.
  • Experience building and implementing strategic plans and integrated marketing programs.
  • Ability to analyze data and market information to recommend business actions.
  • Proven success in fast-paced environments requiring independence and self-initiation.
  • Effective budget management and experience with performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to enroll and motivate a complex partner organization.

Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Brand Director of Guinness and collaborates with the General Manager of Open Gate Breweries and Operations Managers.
  • Accountable for driving market awareness and site visitation for the OGBs.
  • Owns the communication and messaging for OGBs, including PR, social media, paid media, and community engagement.
  • Delivers best-in-class on-site Guinness experience that drives brand love and emotional engagement.
  • Acts as liaison with local community, brewing industry, and government as needed.
  • Responsible for site-specific content creation and creative direction.
  • Partners with Regional Marketing Managers and the Guinness brand team for local market sponsorships and collaborations.
  • Manages internal and external partners on OGB workstreams.
  • Works with Operations Managers to develop and implement on-site activations.
  • Ensures compliance with Diageo Marketing Code standards.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of marketing activities and consumer outreach tools.
  • Manages budget and performance reporting.
