About The Position

The Marketing Manager, Commercial & Wealth Client Engagement is a strategic and data-driven individual responsible for designing, executing, and refining marketing strategies for our Commercial and Wealth Banking lines of business. This individual will play a pivotal role in deepening client relationships and supporting key services, including Wealth Management, Treasury Management, and Payment Solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) to develop targeted campaigns, optimize client interactions, and deepen client relationships that drive revenue growth. Success in this role requires a blend of CRM proficiency, close collaboration with front-line bankers, and data-driven insights to maximize client engagement in order to support and foster long-term client retention, loyalty, and advocacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent); other degrees considered if the candidate has strongly demonstrated marketing or sales results.
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant accountable marketing disciplines such as customer marketing, segment marketing, database marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing, etc.
  • Regulated industry (i.e. Financial Services, Healthcare, Gaming, etc.) experience strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with B2B marketing, commercial banking, and/or wealth client engagement is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM, data and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is preferred.
  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Data Cloud are a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven marketing, predictive analytics, and personalization strategies is a plus.
  • Experience working for or with a publicly-traded company.
  • Quantified results from marketing programs and campaigns created and managed.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills including proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Demonstrated interest in building a knowledgebase and active curiosity about what drives customer and business value.
  • Personal or professional experience in emerging marketing disciplines such as digital marketing, customer-relationship management, inbound marketing, social media, etc. are encouraged but not required of candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Craft well-structured strategic marketing plans and creative briefs using qualitative and quantitative data and producing measurable results.
  • Define and update marketing plans for specific marketing channels under the direction of the direct manager.
  • Navigate a highly matrixed organization, influence partners, build consensus, and work across various functional departments to plan & execute through creative development, targeting and production.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of features and benefits of financial products offered to the segment.
  • Contribute input and ideas to help achieve segment marketing goals and program ROI.
  • Work with analytics to understand campaign performance, test results and profitability; utilize data and analytics to drive marketing decisions based on customer interactions and behaviors.
  • Identify new capabilities to improve campaign performance and support launch of new initiatives and programs; assess performance and issues proactively and recommend enhancements.
  • Act as a thought leader, presenting and discussing ideas with intent to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding across all levels of the organization.
  • Present campaign reporting including financials, performance and test results.
  • Ensure that marketing programs adhere to brand standards and contribute to building brand equity.
  • Coordinate with appropriate internal and external centers of excellence to execute campaigns and programs.
  • Use internal and external resources to understand the impact of marketing programs on the entire buying funnel down to incremental sales, revenue, and ROI.
  • Follow established department policies, procedures, and workflow practices.
  • Serve as a first line of defense in implementing appropriate risk controls.
