The Marketing Leader is responsible for building the capability to understand the future of markets and defining the strategy and tactics required for growth, innovation and margin realization. Develops positioning and identifies and prioritizes opportunities to pursue for growth. Leads initiatives required to grow and provides new specialized solutions to create sustainable value for customers and the company. Is a strategic stakeholder for the business organization or innovation platforms. Ensures an external perspective is considered when developing business strategies, scoping growth initiatives, and leading market-facing growth projects. Identifies and selects resources needed to develop and execute business strategies, market activation plans, marketing communications plans, and to lead/participate on growth projects. Develops global pricing strategies and product positioning aligned with the overall business strategy. Collaborates with other related businesses to ensure decisions taken consider the implications across the value streams in Eastman.
