About The Position

This position is for COLLEGE STUDENTS; Ages 18+ Job Description This position provides support to the Marketing team by assisting with signs, photography, community events, customer service and special projects for Kentucky Kingdom Theme and Water Park.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Creative mindset with problem-solving attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and deadline driven.
• Willingness to learn new tools, platforms and sales strategies.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience and/or training in marketing, social media, sales, customer service or related field.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of Adobe Photoshop and other creative suite tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing marketing strategies and deliverables.
• Plan and execute marketing activations for special programs and events at the park and in the community.
• Capture event and park photography to use as marketing assets.
• Assist in creation of marketing content (posts, captions, etc.), including partnerships with influencers.
• Assist with printing and placement of in-park signage.
• Other duties as assigned.
