About The Position

Join Atlantic Automation Company as a Marketing Intern and help drive innovative marketing strategies for our distributed products, with a focus on Red Box Tools and Power solutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing while contributing to the growth of a dynamic and evolving industry. The intern will gain exposure to key business operations and contribute directly to team objectives. Additionally, interns will participate in: Weekly Lunch & Learn sessions with ELT members. A structured internship project, culminating in a final presentation to leadership.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with junior or senior standing preferred, but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to create clear, engaging content.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools for monitoring and reporting engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and manage engaging content for social media platforms to promote Red Box Tools and Power and other distributed or organic products.
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with audiences, and respond to comments or inquiries promptly.
  • Analyze social media metrics and prepare performance reports with actionable insights to improve engagement.
  • Content Creation and Campaign Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute digital marketing campaigns.
  • Draft and edit marketing collateral, such as newsletters, press releases, and product descriptions.
  • Support trade shows and events by preparing promotional materials and assisting with on-site marketing activities.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct competitive research and industry trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Assist in the preparation of market insights and reports to guide campaign strategies.
  • Website and Digital Marketing Support: Contribute to website updates, ensuring content aligns with overall marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to create digital and print marketing assets.
