About The Position

The Marketing Intern will support day-to-day marketing and communications efforts with a focus on digital content, social media, analytics, and community engagement. This role offers hands-on experience across multiple marketing channels and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful campaigns, events, and brand initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and work well in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, CMS platforms, and basic video editing tools

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating, editing, and publishing digital content across social media, websites, email, and other online channels to support member engagement and brand visibility
  • Support social media management by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, responding using approved guidelines, and escalating issues when needed
  • Assist with tracking and analyzing digital performance metrics (social media, email, and website traffic) and preparing basic reports and insights for the marketing team
  • Support public relations and brand communications efforts, including content development, community storytelling, and promotion of events, initiatives, and partnerships
  • Assist with campaign coordination by organizing digital assets, tracking timelines, and supporting approval processes to ensure timely execution
  • Support internal and external events and community outreach initiatives through promotion, content creation, and day-of coordination as needed.
