The Marketing Intern will be assigned to a functional Team Manager and an internship mentor or co-mentors. Work performed will be hands on, may contribute to a project as a whole, but does not directly impact the outcome. At the conclusion of the internship, the intern will have a clear understanding of how their studies directly contribute to their course of study and/or the medical device industry. This is a part-time summer internship position, working with the Marketing Department at Kestra.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing an undergraduate degree with a focus in business management
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past 6 months
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment with Kestra Medical Technologies
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must complete a criminal and employment background screening that meets the allowable FDA requirements and is in accordance with EEOC rules and regulations
  • Must complete a pre-internship drug screen
  • Frequent repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers, such as keyboard and mouse usage
  • Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequent computers use
  • Frequent phone and other business machine use
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing organization in key projects and activities
  • Develop a claims matrix to support further creation of marketing content
  • Evaluate current digital platforms for the deployment of marketing content
  • Collaborate with the sales team to uncover market insights
