About The Position

The Exus Marketing & Communications Department is seeking a Marketing Intern focused on website-related projects and digital content updates as part of our Summer 2026 internship program at our corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a paid position with an anticipated duration of approximately eight weeks between June and August 2026. Start and end dates are flexible to accommodate each candidate’s academic schedule. This is a part-time internship at 20-hours per week. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Marketing & Public relations and will collaborate closely with development, marketing ,and administration.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student in a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site at the Exus Corporate Headquarters in downtown Pittsburgh, PA for the duration of the internship program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • experience with website CMS platforms, Adobe Creative tools, and Canva is a plus.
  • Interest in marketing, communications, or renewable energy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creation of websites to support our development projects includes content development including updates, page edits, and new page builds.
  • Support website audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company brand guidelines.
  • Help organize and manage website assets such as images, documents, and project information.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and internal stakeholders for website-related improvements and enhancements.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of marketing materials, including digital content, and internal resources.
  • Support development of department standard operating procedures and intake forms.
  • Conduct research and help compile information for marketing or communications initiatives.
  • Provide logistical and marketing support for conferences, industry events, and community initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects across the Marketing & Communications team, as assigned.
